Aspen Room

taos new mexico bed and breakfast

Relive the Spanish Colonial era in the Aspen room. A natural wood ceiling, poured mud floors, Mexican crafted furniture, native rugs, and real adobe walls create a cozy and relaxing escape from the present. A large retablo by Santa Fe artist, Fernando Bi Monte, resides above your queen size bed invites your introspection. The comforts of the 21st century have not been forgotten in the wilds of the west. A full Talevera-tiled bath with tub and shower as well as a TV & VCR add to your comfort.

Enjoy a view of the flower-filled main garden courtyard, and to the west, a view of Maggie's Whimsical Potager Garden as well as glorious sunsets from within your own private space. A secret door lures you to peruse the inn's extensive library while your private entrance onto the main garden's shaded portal invites you to greet the day.

From Our Guest Book:

"After an experience like this, you have now set a precedent against which all of our other travels will now be compared."

Terri & Fred M., Richmond, VA

"What a wonderful retreat. To sit on the rear portal and watch the hummingbirds frolic ~ or on the front portal and watch a thunderstorm on the mesa ~ sheer bliss. You can just feel the peace seep in. Or to quote Georgia O'Keefe from one of your books, 'words aren't much good, you just have to feel it'."
